TYPE PDF

Privacy Policy

How Type PDF handles your documents and information.

Effective October 3, 2026

Type PDF is operated by Bryant Rahadian in California, United States. This policy describes the editor’s data practices and the services involved in delivering the website.

Your PDFs and edits

The editor processes PDFs and edits in your browser. It does not upload your PDF or the text you add to a document-processing server. Downloaded files are saved through your browser to your device.

Local drafts and preferences

Type PDF uses browser storage (IndexedDB) to save your current PDF and edits, and local storage to remember editing preferences. A draft may remain after you close the tab. Opening another PDF replaces the current draft.

To remove a draft, return to the start screen and select Discard in the saved-work notice. To remove drafts and preferences, clear this website’s data in your browser settings. Download your work first. Browser storage can be cleared or become unavailable, and is not a backup service.

Website delivery and fonts

Opening this website makes network requests even though PDF processing is local. The site is hosted through Cloudflare Pages and OpenAI Sites. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process connection and usage information, such as IP address, browser details, request times, and requested pages, to deliver, secure, and operate the website. Platform sign-in and access controls may also involve cookies or similar storage.

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and request information when your browser requests them. These font requests do not include your PDF or edits. See OpenAI’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy for their practices. Provider retention is governed by their policies; deleting a local draft does not delete provider logs.

Support email

If you email code.baroka@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to reply, investigate issues, and maintain relevant support records. Messages are processed through Gmail and retained as needed for those purposes or legal obligations. You can request deletion by emailing us; some information may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.

Please avoid sending sensitive PDFs. Describe the problem or send a screenshot with private information removed when possible.

Advertising, analytics, and tracking

The Cloudflare website uses Google Analytics to measure page visits and basic usage, including browser and device information, referral information, and approximate location. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visits. We do not send PDF contents, filenames, or text you enter in the editor to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tracking setup. You can block analytics using your browser’s privacy controls or an analytics-blocking extension. The editor has no AdSense integration. We do not sell your PDF contents or use them for advertising. The editor does not track your activity across other websites and does not change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. Third-party hosting, sign-in, and font services operate under their own privacy policies and may collect information across their services as described there.

If these practices change, this policy will be updated to describe the services, information involved, and relevant choices.

Your choices and requests

You control the files and drafts stored on your device. We cannot retrieve or delete a local draft for you remotely. For questions or requests to access, correct, or delete personal information you have sent us, contact code.baroka@gmail.com. We may need to verify a request; applicable rights and exceptions depend on the law.

Policy updates

Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will also be announced on the website before the new practices take effect.
