Using the service
Type PDF provides browser-based tools for adding text and shapes to PDFs and downloading the results. Use it only for lawful purposes and with documents you have permission to use. Do not disrupt the service, bypass security controls, or violate another person’s rights.
Your documents
You retain your rights to your documents and the content you add. You are responsible for that content and for reviewing the completed PDF before sharing, submitting, or relying on it. Using Type PDF does not transfer ownership of your documents to us.
Downloads and saved work
PDF compatibility and appearance can vary between documents and readers. Editable features may work differently in other applications. Flattening fixes additions into the page appearance but does not guarantee that a document cannot be changed. Covering information with a shape is not secure redaction.
Keep your own downloaded copies. Local drafts may be replaced, cleared, or become unavailable. Type PDF does not provide cloud document backup.
Availability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every PDF, or error-free results. To the extent permitted by law, Bryant Rahadian is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes
The service may change over time. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised effective date, and material changes will be announced on the website. Changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law.
