Email previews usually let you read a PDF, not type on it. To fill out an attached form, save it first, add your answers in Type PDF, and send back the completed copy.
From inbox to finished form
- Save the attachment. Download the PDF from your email and note where it's saved.
- Open it in Type PDF. Select Choose PDF and pick the file you just saved.
- Fill it in. Click where each answer goes and type. Scroll through every page so you don't miss a question.
- Download the completed PDF. Give it a clear name, like
registration-jordan-lee-completed.pdf. - Attach it to your reply. Type PDF doesn't send email, so attach the file yourself from your email app.
Don't send the blank one by mistake
Your downloads folder will now have two versions with similar names. Attach the one you renamed, and open it once before sending to make sure your answers are there.
What about a signature?
If the form has a signature line, check what the sender asked for. A typed name isn't always accepted as a signature, so follow any signing instructions they gave you.
