Usually you already know what you want to add to a PDF: a name on a line, an answer under a question, a checkmark in a box. Type PDF is built so that's the only thing you have to think about. Open the file, click where it goes, and type.
What makes it different
- No constant tool switching. Most PDF editors make you select the text tool, draw a box, and type, every time. In Type PDF, every click on the page adds something. Click adds text by default, and you can set click and Shift + click to add text, a checkmark, or a shape.
- One focused job. There are no menus of merge, convert, and compress tools to dig through. Type PDF adds text and shapes to a page, and that's it.
- Works on any PDF. The form doesn't need fillable fields, so non-fillable forms and scans work the same way.
- No signup or installation. Open it in your browser and start. Your PDF is processed on your device, and a local draft lets you pick up where you left off in the same browser.
- Editable or flattened downloads. Keep an Editable PDF to change later, or download a Flattened PDF with everything fixed in place.
What it doesn't do
Type PDF doesn't rewrite the original text in a PDF, build fillable forms for others, or securely redact information. It's for adding your own words on top.
